We stayed at Lawdons at Drostky’s Cabins and it was quite honestly one of the best places that we stayed on our whole trip. The place was lovely and the setting was beautiful. All the staff were so helpful and they made our trip very memorable. Great food and the bar was lovely. We enjoyed the pool immensely. The cabins themselves were excellent –very well appointed with all mod cons and little touches of luxury and style. Very well kitted out. We really enjoyed out stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Drotsky is highly recommended Fantastic lodge and very friendly people. Double and double storey family units (sleeping 5) on banks of Okavango River. Drotsky’s is an extremely well-run family concern, who really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This is a great area for birdwatching and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. This is also very popular for fishing. Boats to be hired only, guests are not allowed to bring their own boats. Boats must be pre-booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. Drotsky’s is not self-catering ( self contained ) and all meals are taken at the restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch and supper. Great restaurant and entertainment area, overlooking river.

Delta Dawn was a bit dreary, although beautiful facilities, there is no outlook onto the river, and the people running it are not exactly cheerful. Drotsky`s on the other hand is fantastic!Denise 082 824 8621

This is definitely the highlight of the holiday. The people here are professional and organized. We are privileged to sleep in the newly built Lawdon Cabins – what a treat. Real luxury and we can catch up on the world because we have TV. Jan is very kind and supplies us with a Braai drum and firewood – although they do not really allow self catering. Going to the camp site to braai was not really an option – it was fully booked and it is quite a drive from Lawdon’s. Nothing is too much and we feel really special.

Drotsky Cabins – Definitely recommended. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful and neat gardens, the clean campsites and ablutions and the hospitality of the owners.
